Rope lights in vehicles

Rope lighting is very versatile and can be used on many different vehicles from the largest yacht or recreational vehicle to the smallest of hobby cars and children’s motorized toys. They can be decorative or supply a factor of safety to any type of vehicle.

Trunk lights
On the majority of vehicles, trunk lighting is a single bulb. You can increase the lighting in the trunk by adding 12-volt versions. Wired into the same circuit as the trunk light, it enhances the lighting in that area. This is perfect to display stereo equipment housed in the trunk, or make a real impression at the next tailgate party.

Running Lights
Great application for 12-volt lights is easily installed, and is a durable safe alternative to running lights of costly neon glass tubes, or the labor intensive task of drilling holes and adding individual lighting elements that must all be wired together. With an impact resistance of 220 pounds per square inch, our 12-volt rope is the best choice where durability is a concern.
Adding a soft glow to the exterior of your car or truck in the color of your choice provides a stunning way to accent and individualize your vehicle.

Interior Trim Lights
Light up the interior of your car or truck with adaptable 12-volt lighting. It can be used to outline your dashboard or accent the interior ceiling of your van or truck.

Boat Lighting
Under the dash lights, or along the deck, they add a great effect to your boat. Easily wired through a switch, you can have several runs to light up several different areas on the vessel. In the cabin and galley, it is a perfect lighting choice. We have had several customers add 12-volt red colored rope lighting on the port side and 12-volt green colored rope lighting on the starboard side of their boat to tell one from the other. Enhancing visibility of your boat at night increases safety on the water.

Motor coach Lighting
High-end coachbuilders are installing 12-volt ones in cabinets, under countertop lips and along the floor to provide decorative, useful lighting. Our 12-volt lights can be used to replace the existing lighting in your RV if it is time for an upgrade.

Lighting up Other On-Road and Off-Road Vehicles
12-volt lights are great way to light up your ATV, Dunebuggy, Motorcycle, Scooter or Snowmobile. Add 12-volt ones to add a designer effect and adds increased visibility to you and your vehicle. Use yours on antenna whips to make your off-road vehicle visible to other drivers.
