Versatile rope lighting Rope lighting is constructed of tiny bulbs, spaced about an inch apart. These are encased within strong, flexible PVC tube. The tiny bulbs in the roping are typically incandescent, but there are also LED (Light Emitting Diode) rope lighting available. Rope lighting is available for
use with 120-volt (household outlet) and 12-volt (battery, or with a
